About me

Darren Hutchens Mural Artist

Experienced mural artist/project facilitator/illustrator/graphic designer specialising in large scale public artworks and community based art projects working solo and as part of Too Much Colour Productions, Perth large scale mural specialists.

I have a background in graphic design and illustration and have been working as a community artist since 1999.

My unique style displays a sensitive use of colour and sense of fun which transfers to engaging and exciting murals.

I enjoy the opportunities public art brings in transforming dull areas into awe inspiring artworks.

I find sharing my skills & expertise with young people and assisting them in building their own creative ability & self esteem to be extremely rewarding.
