A partnership between City of Melville and Water Corporation to beautify public transport infrastructure on Canning Highway. The design talks about our connection to water. For me, the river and places near the water have always been about connection, full of activity and memories of joyful times. A place that also brings me peace, where I can go when I need to unwind and relax. Water Corporation infrastructure around the river near Bicton is iconic, especially the tower on View Terrace. I wanted to bring these elements together whilst having a little fun with the seat, as if waiting for the bus could be a moment of calm contemplation.
