The area west of Canning Bridge has undergone major change over the past few years, with the construction of multiple high rise apartment buildings. City of Melville contracted 5 mural artists to paint works as part of the Canning Bridge Precinct public art program.

The concept responds to the river side location of Applecross and the adjacent Jane Court building, a modest mid century block of flats.

The work seeks to explore the idea that development should consider and respond to changes in climate and the environment.
