Painted over a single day as stage one of a proposed extensive mural intervention at Willandra Primary School.

The design utilises simple overlapping shapes and 3 tones of blue (school colour) complimented by “basketball” orange, khaki, black and white.

Throughout the design process, I was conscious of suggesting the notion of play whilst conforming to the horizontal and vertical edges of the bricks. 

The flat colour is an effective “skin”, softening the rough textured surface and provides some much needed energy and focus to the playground.
