Design and painting of a contemporary mural to revitalise the stark area behind the Youth Centre at Cockbrun Central. 

The huge wall offers a backdrop to the dynamic outdoor space that includes a stage for performance, skate ramp, basketball court and playground. It is a highly visible location seen from the road, library and centre opposite. 

The semi abstract mural depicts birds in flight, flocking together as they head over the lakes and bushland of Cockburn toward the coast and the setting sun. It is an allegory of the challenges young people face, determining the direction their lives will take on the journey to adulthood.
