In June 2024, Darren Hutchens collaborated with the Koorda community to bring the old skate park to life. The project features sunrises, sunsets, starry skies, campfires, and local landscape patterns, created through on-site workshops and community painting sessions, celebrating place, participation, and Wheatbelt heritage.

Koorliny – Come Together

Spray painted artwork on the concrete couch, services compound and the rear doors of the Koorliny Arts Centre as part of the annual Fringe Festival. The fun and friendly designs were developed in response to the surroundings and represent the diversity of the community of Kwinana. “Koorliny” meaning “coming together” in Noongar language.
